Another mindmap on math, this time it revolves around the most basic operations you can do in math (counting, addition, substraction, multiplication, division), how young kids can learn them but also what these most basic operations can tell about much more complicated matters most people just memorize to learn it.
A good example are the binomial formulas that are directly based on the process of multiplication and can be explained with them so easy, its really mind-boggling to think about how unnecessarily complicate some kids have to learn them (and mostly memorize the formulas after a while without really understanding how it is derived).
I don't teach math, but like the mindmap before this illustrates quite well how important it is to teach clearly and lively with focus on really explaining and illustrating the process leading to the solutions, not hammering uninteresting formulas into the heads of kids.
